Live in One Week!
04/01/2003
Our advertising will start kicking in sometime next week. We should have ten or twenty reviews up by then, and I'll be fairly steadily cranking them out for a while to get us up to speed with the bulk of products available right now. We still haven't heard back from a lot of d20 publishers, so please forgive the blank spot where their logo should be, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes by using licensed images without permission. Jim from Bastion Press got back to me like greased lightning once he got back from GAMA, and was kind enough to give a short interview, so that section doesn't look quite as sad and empty as it had.
Game on.
Website Complete!
03/13/2003
Bill has done the image for us, and we've got it complete and up. The webpage itself is totally done, even down to the strange little Flash-lettes that do nothing more than roll back and forth on the screen. I'm sure David will hate them, and tell me what I should have done instead, but I like them. So there.
I'll be putting the first reviews up in the next couple of days, setting us up on a host and domain, and officially announcing our 'live' status. Hoody-hoo!
Closing in on Live!
03/06/2003
Work progresses quickly on the website. We have lined
up the incredible Bill to do the splash image for the page, which
should work out quite well.
Contact with the various publishers in the industry will begin shortly,
announcing the launch of this site, and requesting fact sheets about
their company as well as interviews with their top people.
Once we're live, we'll do a launch with a large burst of advertising through Google's AdWords, and announcements on all resource pages. We're considering snapping up an ad in Dragon magazine--we'll see how that works out.
